This is the full version of EGS-TV V5.4, the shareware video software for
EGS graphic boards. To use this as full version you need a keyfile, which
can only be obtained by registering directly by me. Without keyfile
EGS-TV has some restrictions.
What does EGS-TV offer?
-----------------------
EGS-TV is a pure EGS program. It offers high/true-color sequence editing
and animation generation for random access sequences on your harddisk
(Professional version only). It can apply amazing trick technics as the
Blue Screen Keying to your pictures and sequences/animations. Did you ever
want to edit an 80MByte animation and delete a frame out of the middle?
No problem with EGS-TV-Professional...
All this is done through a font sensitive EGS user interface which runs
on your biggest screens in 24Bit color quality...
* Direct picture import from programs (ImageFX and EGS Bitmaps)
* Picture loading functions (including scaling) in all common picture file
formats as IFF-ILBM, JPeg, PPM/PGM/PBM, QRT, Targa, PCX, BMP, IFF-DEEP,
YUV, VLab raw, IFF-RGB, IFF-PBM, IFF-ACBM, FBM, Sun raster, MacPaint,
HHsXRL formats and more; OS3.x users can also use DataTypes.
Pictures can be integrated or combined with sequences...; automatic
scaling is available to integrate large pictures in animations/sequences
of smaller picture size.
* Automatic directory import, to create sequences from single pictures
very conveniently
* Framegrabber support for VLab, IV24 and VideoCruncher framegrabber with
high color monitor function and much more: This makes your VLab or
your IV24 to a Motion Video Card with sequence recording...
* Handy scanner support (Cameron/Reisware/ScanKing) for black&white,
16 or 256 greyscales
* Sequence editing functions as insert/append/delete; demo
version only support RAM sequences; the professional version additio-
nally supports harddisk sequences
* Blue Screen Keying system for stunning trick effects
* Management of any number of pictures and sequences (only limited by
memory); every picture or sequence has it's own preview window.
* Saving of frames and exporting of sequences in many file formats
(IFF,JPeg,YUV,PPM,QRT,Targa,DEEP,...); no saving possible in the
demo version; JPeg saving only available in professional version.
* Picture export to many programs (ImageFX,XiPaint,PicoPainter,ArtEffect,TVPaint)
and user configurable transfer by ARexx (not available in demo version)
* Loading and saving of settings for different purposes or for the
program start-up (not available in demo version)
* Usable on any selectable screenmode and on the EGS-Default screen
(in the demo version only the screen depths can be selected)
* Freely distributable sequence player program for EGS is available
in a separate archive (egstvplayer.lha)
Requirements
------------
* Amiga-OS 2.04 or higher
(OS3.0 or higher is recommended for harddisk recording and also needed
for DataType support and sequence editing control with the joystick port)
* EGS-System version 6.0 or higher
EGS System 7.x users can find a window iconification icon in the
archive (subdirectory EGS-Icons). This can be copied to EGS:EGS-Icons
and will then be used as iconification icon instead of the default
icon for all EGS-TV windows.
* Much memory (at least 4MByte Fast-RAM; 6MByte Fast-RAM recommended)
Video hardware support
----------------------
* VLab framegrabber (classical and Y/C; also as Parallelport versions;
the VLab-Motion can not be supported as MacroSystem is
not willing to provide documentation for programmers)
* IV24 as framegrabber
* VideoCruncher as framegrabber
* Cameron/Reisware/ScanKing handy scanner (no real Video hardware, but they
can be used as frame source for black&white or greyscale pictures as well)
EGS-TV can also be used without a framegrabber as stand alone video program
(animation/sequence generation) by import and load functions.
Registering
-----------
The registration fee for EGS-TV Professional is currently 33US$ for users
outside of europe and 40DM for users in europe (see registration form for
other possible currencies).
English and german versions available. An extensive documentation (more
than 100kByte) is included in Amiga-Guide format.
Free updates are normally available due to the keyfile concept.
A registrationform is included in the archiv.
